What was the problem you were having before you discovered our services?
We were previously using a different proctoring service. Students were required to schedule their exams in advance or they had to pay additional fees. On top of that, the time between the beginning of their appointment and when they could actually begin their exam would often be 45 minutes or greater. This led to our students being stressed before their exam even began. We often received reports that the required plug-ins would not work, even if a student had run a system check the day before. Additionally, Chromebooks were not compatible with our previous service.
What was different about our services?
Since we have been using MonitorEDU, I don’t think one student has complained about the necessary technology MonitorEDU requires – which is especially great considering we now benefit from a two camera view. I’ve needed to make accommodations/considerations for specific students, and I was able to take care of that with a single email. With our previous service, this would have taken multiple emails with delayed responses from the company. MonitorEDU just makes things so simple. I also appreciate the single point of contact within the company. I’ve never met Delaney in person, but I feel like she should be on my Christmas card list. (I get that last statement probably won’t work in terms of a PR snippet, but it’s true.) Lastly, any time we have had a concern, MonitorEDU has been quick to address it. It feels like they are truly invested in delivering the highest quality product and experience possible.
Tell us what life looks like now that your problem is solved or is being solved.
Final exam season is always a stressful one for both professors and students. Having a proctoring service that is reliable, efficient, eager to help, and easy to work with takes away one layer of that stress. We know our students will be taken care of, but will still be held accountable academically.

We don’t have to worry about how our exams will be proctored and we can focus on what we do best which is educating insurance professionals, building relationships and helping our customers grow and learn in their roles..
I work at an online high school, and we started using MonitorEDU during Covid as a way to proctor math tests. Since then, we have continued to use it in situations where students have been unable to take exams in-person. We really like the flexibility that it offers our students, and we have been very pleased with the responsiveness of the team at MonitorEDU to customize our experience to meet our needs.
